Rare Opportunity!
A three-day retreat to connect with the compassionate wisdom of the Great Mother, Holy Tara.
Friday 19th of Sept 1pm and Full days (Sat & Sun 20th /21st of Sept)
Receive profound empowerments and experiential teachings of the Twenty-One Taras of Suryagupta from prominent Tibetan Buddhist master, Lama Choedak Rinpoche.
Deepen your experience of the divine feminine.
For Tibetans, Tara is the most beloved of all the female awakened beings. Green Tara’s primary activity is one of protection from fear and danger, and she is committed to responding swiftly the moment that we call upon her. Through visualization, mantra, and silent meditation, we deepen our experience of the divine feminine while simultaneously awakening this quality of compassion that is innate to our being yet often obscured.
The Green Tara practice transforms our distorted view of self and helps us recognize our innate radiant, compassionate nature.

Every Thursday evening at 7 pm to 8:30 we will have teaching on the Precious Garland written by Nagarjuna and belonging to his Collection of Advice.
In the Precious Garland, Nagarjuna offers advice on how to conduct our lives and how to construct social policies that reflect Buddhist ideals. This is a streaming session with Lama Choedak Rinpoche.
The advice for personal happiness is concerned first with improving our condition over the course of lifetimes and then with release from all kinds of suffering, culminating in Buddhahood. Nagarjuna describes the cause and effect sequences for the development of happiness within ordinary life, as well as the practices that lead us to enlightenment–the practices for developing wisdom, or the realization of emptiness, and compassion. He also describes the qualities of the Buddhas.
In his advice on social and governmental policy, Nagarjuna emphasizes education and compassionate care for all living beings, and states his opposition to the death penalty, and appeals for charity for the homeless. Calling for the appointment of government figures who do not seek profit or fame, he advises that a selfish motivation will lead to misfortune.

Developed from traditional Buddhist mindfulness training techniques, this course teaches awareness of breath, posture and feelings to improve our physical and mental health and helps us to transform negative situations and our negative states of mind. The real value of Calm Abiding (mindfulness) Meditation is in its application to everyday life.
This course also offers a speech blessing practice to change undesirable habits in our internal dialogues and communication.
